Vacation Church School 2005

The pictures from CALM Day (Wednesday) at Vacation Church School were taken by Nick Strobel. The children and teachers took a lot more pictures with their classroom disposable cameras. They will be displayed later once the film is developed.

Children + teachers gathering together before going to CALM
The theme for the week was "All Creatures Great and Small"	Anne Scott developed and coordinated this year's VCS.	Margaret Grant with Heidi Mensink at piano taught the children the songs
	The Junior High class drew some of the animals given in Heifer Project. All of the offering money during the week went to Heifer Project.
	Jerry Ludeke and David Scott taught the Junior High class.	One of the CALM staff gave a talk to the kids in the Amphitheater before we toured the place. Here she is telling about the Red-tailed Hawk.
	The photographer toured with the 4+5-year olds. Here we are at the Children's Park section of CALM	Children's Park has domesticated animals that can be petted.
	At the Duck Pond.	Cinnamon and Dart frolic for the kids.
	In the small mammals area (foxes, coatimundi, and bobcats).	The racoons were active.
