No report given for Annual Conference 2007
The Annual Conference meeting is the gathering of delegates from all of the local United Methodist Churches in most of California (from Bakersfield to the Oregon border) and most of Nevada (everything except the Las Vegas area) to determine the programs and direction of ministry for the entire Annual Conference. Pastoral appointments are announced at the meeting and delegates vote and make business decisions to support the ministries of the Annual Conference and its churches.
This year the Annual Conference meeting was held in Sacramento from June 14-17 at the Convention Center. Nick Strobel and David Scott were our church's official delegates. They reviewed reports from various conference committees and ministries beyond the local church and voted on various recommendations. The link to the recommendations below is for those recommendations that had been turned in by June 1. Several more were added at the Annual Conference meeting.
